F3 MetalWorx is a local fabrication facility with two locations, one in Erie and one in North East. They make everything from industrial microwaves to commercial shelving to custom orders for local artists.
Today they made our “Protect Our Lake” storm drain markers out of stainless steel and cut them with an industrial green laser!!!
The markers will be placed on the storm drains all around the North East School district campus with help from the students. They will be accompanied by a banner with additional information on the importance of protecting our great lake.
Funding was provided by the B-WET grant, however, the design, materials, and time were all donated for this project.
