Substitute Instructional / One-on-One Personal Care Aide
- North East High School

Substitute Teachers
- Holds either a Bachelor's Degree or current Teacher Certification issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
Prospective Teacher Substitutes
- Currently enrolled in a Pennsylvania-approved college or university educator preparation program;
- Completed at least 60 semester hours or equivalent; and
- Meets all statutory requirements related to clearances, citizensip, and good moral character.
Substitute Support Staff
- Instructional / Personal Care Aide
- Assist classroom teacher by working with individual or small groups of students.

Dining Hall Aide

Perform a variety of support services with students including meal assistance, behavior monitoring and custodial responsibilities such as cleaning tables and stacking chairs.

Secretary
-
Complete clerical duties in support of the building administrators.

Nurse
-
Provide medical aide to students and school staff.

CDL Bus Driver
-
Transport students in district school buses.

Class B CDL Driver’s License with clean driving record. Free CDL training available.

Assist bus and van drivers with student safety while loading, unloading and in transit.

Assist head cook with line server, dish room and/or cashier duties.

Assist head custodian with overall general upkeep and housekeeping within building.

Assist maintenance supervisor with maintaining school district buildings and grounds.

INSTRUCTIONS
The North East School District accepts applications for all positions and will keep them on file for three (3) years. Interested applicants MUST include a completed application, copies of clearances, teaching certificate (if applicable), and any other pertinent documents such as a letter of interest and/or resume.

BENEFITS
North East School District offers health, vision, and prescription coverage for its full-time professional employees through Blue Cross/Blue Shield Preferred Blue; dental coverage is through BAI. Part time professionals and all support staff are also welcome to participate in the health care plan by reimbursing the District for the cost of the monthly premium.
