The Pennsylvania School Boards Association (PSBA) recognized our Board of Directors on October 7, 2021.  Dr. Jane M. Blystone received a certificate of recognition for 12 years of service and Mr. Nicholas C. Mobilia was presented with a plaque in honor of his 24 years of service to the North East School District.  Both directors were added to the PSBA “Honor Roll of School Board Service” at this time.  

PSBA representative Mr. James Summerville also thanked all of the North East Board of Directors for serving their community.   “These elected leaders give unselfishly of their time and energy to support and guide our public schools and the students they serve,” he said. “Their efforts, along with those of their fellow board members, reflect the mission of our schools to provide opportunities for success for every student.”   He also added that school directors volunteer countless hours of their time away from their families and they should all be commended.

“I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to the Board of Directors for their support of our administration, teachers, and staff.   The North East Board of Directors goes above and beyond for our schools and community.   Thank you so much for your time, dedication, and service to our children,” said Superintendent, Dr. Michele Hartzell.
