Reading Recovery is an intensive one-on-one remedial program where the reading specialist meets with the student needing remediation for thirty minutes each day.  The program is tailored to meet his/her individual skill needs such as comprehension, fluency, and word recognition.  The Reading Recovery teacher plans alongside the regular classroom teacher to ensure appropriate instruction.
