Seventh and Eighth Grade Band Seventh and eighth instrumental students will continue to progress in those areas mentioned in the sixth grade band. However, a higher degree of understanding and ability will be attained. The performance level will be more advanced, with the finished product exhibiting a more refined quality. Exhibiting different styles of composing will be included in the band repertoire creating a quality musical organization. Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus Seventh and eighth grade combined chorus is a continuation of the spectrum of learning in prior choral experiences. Students will apply and reinforce their learning and skills in the basic components of music, harmony, rhythm, form, and expression. They will further their development in voice production techniques, correct breathing, and proper enunciation, and will gain better control of their voice ranges, and the male singers will gain more confidence in their changing voices as that process continues.
